Role purpose
Conduct agronomy trials related to seed production.
Provide standard production recipe to field production team including parental morphology, flowering, nicking, adaptation, diseases tolerance, yield components, ratio, density and Cost of goods information.
Support P&S project for continuous improvement on productivity & quality
Accountabilities
Plan, design and execute seed production agronomy trials such as parent **** trials, density trials, fertilizer trials ratio study trials, micro pilot, harvest moisture tolerance study, seed processing research etc..
Responsible for trail land selection, grower selection, training and contract, seed preparation, planting, field management and harvest, to ensure trials in good quality.
Collect all required data timely and accurately in each trial as per the guidelines. Update trail data in database timely.
Compile analyze data with valid statistical analysis, generate trial report.
Generate standard production recipe based on trial data and field observation.
Generate production yield and production risk information for HPC.
Support pilot production executed by field production team, by providing trial protocol, timely following up trial process and recording required data.
Explore new production area.

Provide accurate production recipe aims to increase production yield and seed quality.
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Experience and technology knowledge in crop agronomy or hybrid seed production, crops experimental design and statistical analysis skill
Expertise in crop cultivation practices, disease & pest identification and solutions & Quality consciousness
Critical knowledge
Graduated Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Agriculture, plant science or related field.
Critical experience
3+ years experiences in crop agronomy or hybrid seed production / research / or commercial experiment trial management
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
Interpersonal and cross functional interaction and communication skills
Ability to solve complex problems, deliver quality results on time to meet timelines and provide sound recommendations.
Data analysis skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Power point
Fair for English communication both speaking and writing.
